In today’s world so many people use the power of social media for negative purposes and reasons. I believe it is an amazing communication tool and is a powerful way to connect with others as long as it’s used for good. My aim with this page is to share timely, factual and positive information that would be of interest to our community. More than just sharing council meeting notices, I would like to share other activities and events that are happening in our community. While I cannot follow everyone or see every posting about Apsley and North Kawartha, if you contact me I will do my best to post it…. As long as it meets my criteria above. It is not my intent to have debates about topics addressed at Council meetings or to argue about other issues or items on social media.
